Young Adults/Familes

First Baptist has a dedicated group of young adults and families that enjoy spending time together in church, as well as finding time in their busy schedules to grow friendships outside of the church building.

Events

It is important to us to encourage a strong community among our young adults and young families group! We have regularly scheduled events throughout the year specifically aimed at building and growing connections for those in this category. We have enjoyed fellowshiping over baseball games, picnics, visits to the zoo, holiday potlucks, and various other fun activities in the past.

Sunday School

Young Adult Class:

First Baptist offers a Sunday school class dedicated to our young adult population, although there are other young adults that attend other classes. This specific class covers adults in college and beyond. It is made up of young single adults, married couples, and parents with young children.

If you make the decision to visit us and want to try our class, someone at the door can show you where it is at!

Wednesday Night

Our young adults and parents are invited to attend an adult class for all ages each Wednesday night. Led by our pastor, Phillip Miller, this class is dedicated to digging deeper into the Bible with the opportunity to comment and discuss together. This class also encourages praying for one another by dedicating time for prayer requests.
