Title: Don't Worry
Text: Luke 12:22-34

I am sure that no one has a problem with worry, right? Quite the contrary, we all struggle with the sin of worry, and yes, it is a sin. It is a sin because worry manifests our lack of faith. Our Heavenly Father has promised to provide our every need and take care of us during difficult times. He told us to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). He told us to “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7). So, there is no reason to worry, and yet we do.

In today’s message, we will listen as Jesus gives us the remedies for worry. I urge all of us to put these truths into practice and eliminate worry from our lives.
Jesus told us to:

• Consider the ravens and lilies (24,27-28)
• Seek the kingdom of God first (25-26, 29-32)
• Store up treasures in Heaven and not on Earth (33-34)
