Who We Are
First Baptist Church is a church family made up of people who have been saved by the grace of God, scripturally baptized, and have come together to work together to carry out the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ. The church’s primary goal is to give glory to God. We do this by serving Him according to His truth found in the Bible. We believe in reaching the lost with the saving message of Jesus Christ, helping believers grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and giving God all the honor, glory, and praise that He most definitely deserves. We also strive to promote a loving relationship among our membership and seek to show the love of God with whomever we come in contact. We try to show the attitude of servants among each other and the world abroad. We are not a perfect church, but we are a church who serves a Perfect Savior and Perfect God.

The building is located next to Fox Ridge Retirement Village approximately one mile northeast of the Reynolds Road and Hwy 5 intersection and approximately one mile southwest of the new Bryant Parkway and Hwy 5 intersection.
Our church’s motto is “speaking the truth in love” (Eph. 4:15). We believe in preaching, teaching, and living the example of the truth of God’s Word, the Bible. We do not do this perfectly, but this is our goal. At the same time, our motivation is love-love for God and love for people. We love God and want to live our lives faithfully to Him. We love people, and we want all people to know the truth of God and to share in the kind of life God wants people to live.
History: First Baptist Church has a rich history. Having served the Lord since 1884, the church’s history is filled with faithful people God has used in His service in the Bryant community and across the globe. From local activities and service, to mission works across the world, being the sending church of missionaries, and supporting Christian education at the Missionary Baptist Seminary, First Baptist Church has had and continues to have an important service world-wide. Many have come to know Christ as Savior and have grown in their relationship with and service to the Lord through the work of First Baptist Church. We praise God for how He has used First Baptist Church throughout His history!
Associations: First Baptist Church affiliates with the American Baptist Association (ABA) on a national level and the State Association of Missionary Baptist Churches of Arkansas. First Baptist believes in working with other churches of like faith to be more effective and efficient in the work of the Lord.
